Guest employees play an instrumental role in promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.

Be a vital part of an education team! No matter your role, your presence and positive attitude can make an impact on the life of a student.

Becoming a Guest Employee

Each year, from July 15 – May 15, we accept applications for the following positions:

  • Certificated Guest Teacher
  • Paraeducator/Bus Monitor/Office Professional
  • Sound to Harbor Early Learning Program
  • School Counselor/School Nurse
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Emergency Certificated Guest Teacher

Guest employee placement is on an on-call, as-needed basis as dictated by the daily needs of our participating districts. Be advised, there is no guarantee of placement on any given day and no ongoing expectation of placement.

SafeSchools - Safeschool courses must be completed prior to being placed in the Guest Employee pool. You will receive an email with your login information after you submit your completed online application.

Pay

Guest employee pay varies by school district and position. Check the job posting for specific pay rates.

Benefits

Guest employee positions are not eligible for benefits, with the exception of sick leave.

Guest employee earn one hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked within the same district. They may earn sick leave for each district in which they work.
